Current version: Windows 0.4.1, Linux 0.4.1

A new version of wxMusik is being released right now and it is called 0.4.1!
This release unifies the linux and windows version. This means you an now play ape, flac and mpc files on linux with wxMusik.
Not much features have been added else, but lots of bugfixes have been made to make wxMusik more reliable.
To be able to find crashing errors more easily, i added a crash handler, which displays the program stack with symbolic information, which users should send to me if a crash occurs.
The tag reading code now uses a modified version of taglib from Scott Wheeler, so reading unicode mp3 tags should work better than before,
not to mention that it works faster.
The other features are:
  • 2 new ui languages available:
    • russian (thanks to Andrej Steinmetz)
    • polish (thanks to Wiktor Grebla)
  • On windows the balloon tooltip can be switched of now.
  • (Linux) XF86Audio keys supported. This means you can use your multimedia keys for wxMusik on linux.
  • New program icon by Ben Oakes
  • The playing control area can now be placed on top of the window instead of the bottom.
  • Tag guessing on library build is optional now.
  • Fix bug in autodj, only at least once played songs were chosen.
  • Fixed lots of other bugs (see the entrys with '-' in front in the changelog)
As usual for an even more detailed change description, see thechangelog.

Translators for other languages are still welcome.

Furthermore I still need help from an Mac OSX expert or a user to test wxMusik on OSX.

take care,
.
